She didn't really handle talking to unattractive people very well, for it usually ended badly on their part. "It is!" Thank Merlin. This girl was pretty AND detested smelly, sweaty, bump-into-you-without-apology people. She lifted a neatly manicured eyebrow really high and turned to the redhead again. "How did you get out of taking the train?" Because she wanted that privilege. Didn't Hogwarts know that Valerie DeWalt got handed everything like kiddos got handed lollipops? Geez.

Did she just.... snort? Valerie gave her a long, suspicious, sideways glance. Okay, she'd let that one slide. No DORKY noises again, though.
