She took a tiny step closer to the dog, so that she COULD tilt her head up and give him a challenging glance. Was he capable?
Well. That caught the her of Bottdom off guard. He would have taken a step back, but he'd have to drag his jaw along the floor - and that wasn't very Bott!Becoming. "I beg your pardon, Ms.. I mean, Ivy, but if I've given you reason to believe I don't like you or enjoy your company, I must apologize further. Of course I like you. Pretending won't be necessary."
The dog, however... that was a work in progress. She was referring to the dog as Franny. Good Merlin. "I think that is a fair trade off. Your counter offer is accepted." And to prove his point, Dell loosened his tie and casually hung a hand out of his jacket pocket. Look, see? Relaxed. SPOILER!!: Devil in Disguise Quote:

Hmph..someone and their date or whatever was on her ignore for the rest of the event list. Not even worth a mention.
Her mood had absolutely headed down south now but that was okay because Layla had a mean poker face. She made a beeline to Willow but gave her the once over before she got too close.Well the woman looked appropriate enough...no ugly shoes...okay it was safe. She stopped next to her and offered a smile.
"You look lovely." Her attention would be here for the rest of the night, with her employee and the winner and whoever else was lucky enough to be interviewed...not at anyone else.
Dell didn't catch Ms. Dacosta's eye, but he couldn't miss the dress she was wearing. He frowned at Layla, a troubled down turn of his lips, and returned focus to Ivy where he offered her his un-pocketed hand - palm up. |
