Logan frowned a little, not sure what to say. "I..." he sighed, biting his lip. "Well...whatever makes you happy." he said with a firm little nod. She'd hurt his feelings, she could tell. When he frowned, she mirrored him almost immediately. Stepping forward, she grabbed his hand with hers and looked up at him, meeting his eyes.

"It's just I...I can't risk doing what my mom did...I don't want to hurt anyone like that ever." He could understand that, couldn't he? Besides, she was only thirteen. This was a lot to process.
"And I don't want to get hurt." She whispered this, looking down at her feet.
"It's not that I don't still like you...cause I do." Which had been a problem for her, really. Especially after what he did.
"And I do love you, as my best friend. Honest." She was looking at him again, this time.
"Of course we will, you promised me, remember?" But where exactly did this leave them? Logan loved Ella and she still had feelings for him, but she was scared of those...and she also liked someone else. UGH. CONFUSING >.<
