Nigel had just chosen to not take it totally seriously. He loosely crossed his arms as he listened to each and every one of her words as Elinor tried to convince him to take the extra money. And the fact was had she been any other customer he might have taken it without as much question as pay-back for the incident with the love potion...or just as compensation for going out of his way and out of his comfort zone by simply BREWING that particular potion.
Elinor was different.
The potions master had agreed to do it without the offer of compensation.
Nigel raised an eyebrow as he listened to her threat or rather...threats, the man trying to decide if it sounded legit. It could go either way but reminded just how persistant Elinor could be, the shopkeeper finally decided he could believe that she was being totally truthful in just what she said she was going to do if he didn't accept the money.
"Fine...you win," he said giving in to the troublesome woman, palming the two extra coins with no further bother. She was lucky she seemed to have this power over him.
