Taylor shrugged.
"Jack of all trades, then, eh? I could never ride a horse...sounds too...i don't know, dangerous..." she said with widened eyes. AND ARCHERY?! Who was this girl?! "Archery? Hmph. I thought only boys did that...." but wasn't that very muggle like? What was the point if you had a wand? ALl of these thoughts sprinted through her mind....but she didn't voice them aloud. Nope.

Gwen raised an eyebrow at Elliot. Surely she wasn’t serious about it… The fourth year finally grinned, since it obviously was just a joke and the younger Ravenclaw wasn’t serious about it. Since the next topic of conversation was what plans they had for the summer, Gwen couldn’t help but grin. She really couldn’t wait to leave! This was going to be the best summer holiday! But… what was she going to do there? ‘I’m not sure…’ Of course, visiting famous places, tasting the typical food of the country and so on… but Gwen wasn’t sure what exactly she would be doing. ‘But my friend probably came up with a long list of everything we could see there’ Yep. Ariadne had most likely done her research. Even though Gwen was the Ravenclaw there, she preferred visiting places without having planed everything from the beginning. It made the trip more interesting, in her opinion.

‘So you said you’ve visited Beauxbatons?’, the fourth year inquired. She wanted to know what Elliot thought of that school. Gwendolyn was about to go on talking, but the room went silent. She drew her attention to the staff table in time to catch the Headmaster’s speech from the beginning. No… Tate couldn’t leave… there were already the seventh years she wouldn’t be seeing again next term… not the Headmaster too! Gwen glimpsed back at Erin to see what the girl’s reaction to this was.
"Yeah, my parents wanted me to chose where I would go. Beauxbatons was..." she stuttered, trying to find the right word to describe the other European school. "Pretty....uppity..." she finally uttered with a sigh. "I mean, trust me, I consider myself pretty uppity...living in a manor my entire life, having house elves and maids...thats how Beaxbatons is all the time. I dunno', I liked it there..." and sometimes she regretted not going there...it seemed that Hogwarts was getting pretty loose with the filth they let in. "But Hogwarts felt like home. Like I belonged here. And both my parents went here...my sister Dani, though, starts at Beauxbatons next year, though." Elliot rolled her eyes. "I don't think she's going to fit in...at all." Dani was too nice for those people.

She, too, grew quiet and listened to Tate. OH NO. "Whaaaat? He's leaving??" she asked, her mouth gaped open. She couldn't bleive it!
