Oh...broken limb. Sad, really. Elliot didn't know what that even felt like...she had never broken a limb. And not good as the others? Well, if the girl said so...Elliot wasn't one to comfort people. Nope. Not in her nature.
"You broke your ankle...from...dancing?" she asked, raising her eyebrow critically. She wanted to burst into laughter...but held out...for a minute.
And she noticed that the girl was playing with her hair...like, a LOT. Sure, she was blonde, like Elliot, which meant her hair was BEAUTIFUL. But did you see Elliot playing with her hair ALL OVER THE PLACE? No. In fact. Elliot rarely curled her hair. Right now it was back into a neat, crisp pony-tail. She eyed the hand that was continuing to twirl the hair around...and wanted SO BADLY to say something rude...but instead, she said,
"You know, I've heard that the more you touch your hair, the more oily it is." There. Now maybe the girl would stop. Elliot didn't dare want her hair to be oily...and so this girl wouldn't either. Hopefully. And Elliot had even managed a very nice tone while she said, it.
GOOD JOB, ELLIOT!!
