Especially when she knew that she was moving on to do what she's been working towards doing her whole life. Everything was going to work out, and she couldn't wait to live it.

The seventh year practically skipped to the Ravenclaw table. She didn't immediately see anyone she wanted to talk to (another reason she wasn't so sad about leaving Hogwarts, the majority of her friends already have), so she just sat in her usual spot. If someone wanted her, surely they'd come to her.

Unless they were one of the two professors Ellie wanted to speak with. They probably wouldn't walk all the way here. They probably didn't want to speak with her. Her eyes turned as she scouted the Staff table for them.

She'd approach a bit later.
Max was... a little late. Just a bit. As soon as he passed through the doorway, his eyes were set on the Ravenclaw table. He searched for the owner of long, fiery red hair in her usual spot - she was there, of course. Just as he laid eyes on her, he realized it was the last time he would ever walk in the Great Hall and see her sitting there.

He almost threw up right there on the spot.

With his hands dug deep in his pockets, his stomach uneasy, and dreading the moments to come, Max hurried over to Ellie Stone and simply sat down next to her without saying a word. He didn't... have anything to say for now. The worst part of his sadness was that Ellie was absolutely ELATED to be graduating. Ugh. He was hungry, though, and hoped the food would calm him down. Food was a good substitute best friend. He would have to embrace that replacement next term.
