But for now, Nigel Xavier Garrettson was the picture of a love-sick teenager, his attentions completely on Elinor.
His eyes closed as she returned the feeling of the kiss, his hand that had been on her face lightly stroking her skin while their feelings were shared. Nigel pouted as the kiss was broken by Elinor. Sweetheart...that softened the blow. He was her sweetheart. Cue loving puppy-dog look replacing the previous pout. Leaning on his one hand he watched her, listening to her suggestion. "Alright, if you insist," he remarked leaning to move the sandwich closer to him. The action causing him to loosen his hold on Elinor. Nigel realized it and moved to return his arm around her until he heard the offer of tea. "Oh...alright my love. Thank you." Surely he couldn't keep her from fulfilling her offer and being nice to him. Whatever she desired he would do. "But don't take too long my dear Elinor...I'll miss you." She stared at his loving expression, using all of her will to not squeal out with 'AAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWW'. He... was... too... cute.
This madness had to be stopped before any other women saw him.
She stroked his hair as she stood, taking this moment to indulge herself in her favorite bad habit. "Don't worry," she said, turning towards the other side of the office, approaching Nigel's huge book of potion information. "I'll be right here," she added absently at the counter.
The page was already open to Amortenia. Just a little ways down the page, crammed in-between stray sentences, was the antidote. She wouldn't even need a fire. The woman grabbed a small cauldron and set it next to the book, throwing back a glance at Nigel.
No, she didn't really want this to end just yet... But it was her duty. He would no doubt thank her.
Turning back to the counter, she withdrew her wand for a moment and filled half the cauldron with water. She wouldn't need much at all. It was lucky for her, Nigel had things labeled. And the ingredients she needed were very common. Excellent.
Dropping a beazor into the water, Elinot figured she should keep him talking before he got too impatient... "This should only take a few minutes, sweet--...pea."
She froze. What was that out of her mouth? 'Sweetpea'? She had never used that-- EVER. Halfay through the word, she even chocked a little. She blinked hard a few times before turning and shooting a smile at him.
