"Very well then," he said, folding his hands on the desktop in front of him. "Fresh out of university just means you're well up to date. Perfect. I'll expect highly of you then."
He grinned at her comment about a scribe who couldn't take notes. "I won't argue with you there," he said. It seemed like she was getting ready to leave now, which was just fine seeing as someone else seemed to be on the other side of the door waiting for him. "If that's all, Miss Manning, I believe I have someone waiting for me. Do tell them to come in on your way out, please, and stop by if I can do something else for you."
S-sierra Greingoth? Oh Merlin? No wonder she was never really called out in Lafay's class except for being a model citizen? She smiled, the realization was of course there.
And the poor girl nearly tripped as she stood up.
"Well, thank you again Minister Greingoth for your time - and I will be sure to let them in" she smiled softly. She nodded to the minister and ducked towards the door, opening it up she smiled to Claus.
"The minister will see you now" she smiled as she ducked through the door and held it open.
