Kennedy had to admit it. The way she looked up at him with those big, brown eyes of hers caused his heart to flutter like a Golden Snitch. And when she did that it also made it hard for him to look away, but he did only to look down when she linked their arms together.

He couldn't help the grin that tugged at lips. "It's fine, Sierra," he said, honestly. If it had been someone else asking about Aurora and him then he would have told them off in the politest way he could ~~or not~~ or just ignored them, but...come on, this was Sierra. He didn't want her thinking other things after he finally managed to catch her eye. He nodded at what she said next, beginning to walk toward the picnic area. "Deal...but," he stopped, turning to her and looking straight at her eyes. "You know you could ask me anything and I'll answer you with the truth." he grinned. He wasn't going soft on her, he was just letting her know that if she ever had doubts she could always go to him.

Plus, gossip at Hogwarts seemed to spread like a wild fire, so trust was golden in those occasions.
