Beaaaam!

Miss Smythe had said her design was great and that was something Nessie thought was worth smiling about. It was a sweet compliment, and smiling was healthy anyways.

Transferring? Why did they have to do that?

Hmm…Ness didn’t get it, but surely whatever this woman was saying had to be right. She did own a clothing shop now didn’t she? She had to know a thing or two about designing things. It looked a little hard though, this whole lino and potato thing. Meh...maybe it would be easy. You could never know until you tried.

For the first step she had to trace out the design onto some transfer paper. Pretty simple it appeared. She took a pencil and then began drawing her design onto the transparent. Once done, she removed the paper from the parchment and grinned as they looked almost the same. It would work.

The red head then got out from her seat and looked at both the potatoes and the linos. She knew she was old enough to use the tiles and all, but she wanted some practice before she did the real thing. Trying not to feel ashamed, Renesmee picked up one potato and one tile too. She then headed back to her working space and sat down.

Now to do the hard stuff. The Hufflepuff cut her potato in half and then placed her transfer paper right on to one half, making sure the pencil side was touching the potato. ‘Transfero’. Wasn’t too difficult to pronounce, but just to be sure, Ness went over the work a few times in her mind. Then she took her wand, aimed it at the paper and potato and not too loudly said. "Transfero."Nessie’s eyes widened as the design on her paper appeared now on her potato too.

See it wasn’t so hard after all. This was easy magic.
