"Yes," Edric replied simply to Evelyn's question, copying the girl and folding his arms as well in a daring manner. She HAD to believe him! C'mon! He was Eddy. He NEVER lied. Except… right now. And obviously he wasn't very good at it.
But something in Evelyn's expression made Edric a little uneasy.
Maybe it was the way the dim moonlight was falling upon her face, but she looked absolutely
evil. Beautiful too, but mostly evil. Exactly the kind of character he would not want to stumble upon when he was doing something that could cost his House points.
"What's on your mind?" asked the Gryffindor warily as Evelyn just stood there looking evil and smug. Whatever she was thinking, he just knew it would come to his disadvantage.
