Turning the page and actually almost smiling as she continued to read her mother's words, Kurumi almost didn't hear the door to the bathroom open. It wasn't like her to not notice this sort of thing, especially when her heart was racing in anticipation for meeting Lewis, but she just found herself captivated by what her mother was writing about. Kurumi did hear Lewis' voice and she immediately looked up from her mother's journal and met his gaze. "Lewis," she chirped, her eyes bright and her cheeks flushing just a bit more. The smile on her lips was obvious, but soon faltered slightly when she saw the way he was clutching the rather large envelope in his hands and the way he was chewing on his lip.

Swinging her legs off the couch and bringing herself into a regular sitting position, she tucked a strand of her dark hair behind her ear and looked at him shyly. "W-What's that?" she asked, pointing to the envelope in his hands.
