Mini Challenge Five – Breaking the Fourth Wall.

Sitting at the Study tables in the Common Room, the dark brown haired boy opened his bag, pulled his homework towards him, grabbed a pen (still preferring them to quills) and began to answer the questions he’d noted, a confused and almost exasperated expression settling on his face.

“Uh, Laura?”

Yes, Darwin?

“Me doing my homework does for quite a boring story, you know that, right?” Darwin rolled his eyes, both at the paper in front of him, and at the story being told.

You’ve barely let me begin anything!

“Well it looks like you’ve run out of words, now.”
