Without slipping her boots off, Kurumi lied back on the couch and reached into her bag for her mother's journal. Her hands traced over its cover as she hesitated for a moment before opening it. Slowly, she flipped through the pages until she found the last entry she had stopped at and her eyes glazed over her mother's delicate calligraphy that was beginning to show signs of disease. The disease that had taken her away. It still hurt thinking about it all, but she was healing. Slowly.

As she read, her free hand began to play with the charm that was attached to her bag while she waited for Lewis.
Lewis was...nervous to say the least. But he was trying hide it, thought probably wasn't doing a very good job at it. Chewing on his lower lip anxiously, he pushed the door to the Prefects Bathroom open, slowly as if still playing for time. Which he probably was, subconsciously at least. And maybe on purpose as well. He didn't want to do this. While it was probably silly and meant absolutely nothing something about the envelope Jonathan had given him a couple of months ago was making him nervous. He didn't want to give it to Kurumi.

Though, he had to. It wasn't right if he didn't. It wasn't fair.

Back when the Slytherin had given it to him, Lewis thought the boy's suspicions about him keeping it from Kurumi were silly. Why would he not give it to her? It was only some notes from class or so he had said. But then he'd started to think about it and the envelope had slowly started to turn into something bad. A symbol for something bad that was going to get between him and Kurumi. It didn't even matter what was inside. It was just...it made him anxious just looking at it.

But now here he was, with the envelope in his hands.

It had been mocking him for the last two days basically, never leaving his mind, making him feel extremely guilty for keeping it that long. It was selfish, he knew that. Which was why he was here now. With the envelope.

Taking a deep breath, Lewis closed the door behind him and glanced around the room for a moment, before spotting Kurumi...on the couch. It made him smile as his heart skipped a beat just seeing her but he soon went back to chewing on his lower lip. "Hey." Slowly, very slowly he approached Kurumi, trying to keep the anxiety from his face as he absently fumbled about with the envelope in his hands.
