Messer was a weirdo.
The thirteen year old glanced at his reflection in the mirror as the water gushed over his hands. He flipped his hair before grinning back at his reflection. There! That was much, much, MUCH better! No more silly strands of hair were going to bug him for a while now. But maybe he needed to cut his hair and then he wouldn't have this silly problem anymore.
... Nah!
Something else he didn't understand was why he was so happy lately. Maybe it was because Anya was finally unfrozen? Or because they had gotten some kite flying done? Yeah, maybe. But in the past, whenever they had gone kite flying, he didn't usually feel this happy. It was as if he had just played a game of Quidditch and won! Or it felt as if he had won a lot of games. ... Being a teenager was just weird.
Asher had been outside int the cold for what must have been too long. His fingers was numb and he couldn't feel them. The last thing he wanted to do was to go see the healer, honestly she scared him, like the way most people were scared of Lafay. But he liked her. On the other hand Asher was glad that the healer fixed Anya and unfroze her. He had a hard time dealing with her being and then him seeing her freeze in the some room they were in.
Anyway, he hoped that running some warm water over them would help. He pushed the door open with his elbows he felt slightly like a germaphobe pushing it open like that.
He rushed over to the sinks and ran the hot water.
"Ahhhhh." That was a ahhhh in relief and not in pain. That felt good, wiggling his fingers he could feel the feeling coming back into them.
It took him a few minutes to realize someone else was there.... and they were flipping their hair and grinning.
"Summers! What's up Bro?"
