He'd surely do a much better job then should was doing now.
Oh good. This girl was actually going to make a kite. The red headed nodded and then went back to work. Her desire of curiosity left her now and she was happy to be focusing on her kite. It was only when she got distracted again that she looked up.
Hmm..well the girl was right. They really hadn't met, not properly at least and it was sweet of her to be all friendly. Ness liked that of people, it made her happy and she tried her best to act the same way towards others too. "Me neither." said Ness looking at the girl and now only realising that she had seen this girl elsewhere before. It must have been around the grounds or something like that.
Gwen? That was quite a lovely name. Renesmee grinned at the girl now. "It's wonderful to meet you, Gwen." she said in the polite way her parents always taught her to be. "I'm Nessie." she beamed a little more, then dropped what she was doing so that she could extend her hand for a hand shake.
The young, Dixon watched as her new aquaintance got to work on her kite and letting curiosity hit her again, another question came up. "So what kind of kite are you gonna make?" asked Ness trying not to be too shy.
So she was right. They haven’t met before. But Gwen was almost sure she had seen the other girl at some classes.
What was her name… something with P? Nono… definitely R. But, instead of just making guesses, the fourth year waited for the girl to introduce herself.
Hmmm.
Gwen had been unbelievably nice to the other girl. In her case, this was odd.
And nooo. I’m not turning into a Hufflepuff, the fourth year told herself, actually frightened of that thought.
‘Nice to meet you too’, the Ravenclaw replied to the other girl, who immediately introduced herself.
Nessie. All right. She would make an effort to keep in mind the name. Gwendolyn made a mental note of it, actually hoping she would avoid awkward situations if she remembered the name. Because it was odd when she confused people for someone they were not. Her thoughts were interrupted as the other girl extended her hand, in attempt to shake hers. After shaking hands, the fourth year returned to her work.
As she was back to her kite, the Ravenclaw could hear the other girl ask her something.
‘I don’t know. I was thinking about a simple black and white striped kite. But that could turn out too… simple’, Gwendolyn mused, still staring at the rhombus shape which lay on the table in front of her.
‘Or perhaps I could try making some sort of a pattern with more blue…What do you think?’
She spent a few more seconds looking at the unfinished kite, and then glimpsed back at Nessie. The girl didn’t seem to have already made a decision about her kite either. Or maybe had she?
‘What about you? Got any ideas for your kite?’ Because Gwen had too many. Hmph.
