Alyssa continued to slowly leaf through the pages of the magazine she was reading. Then she came across interesting. A cyronkinetc burst spell which froze people. Alyssa read on but didn't think that this was the spell that had affected the students. It actually involved freezing them like they were frozen like ice. But not wanting to eliminate that as a possibility since no one actually did a body temperature read on them.

Or maybe this spell didn't actually make them freeze like ice, but just made them fall into a cryogenic stasis, which she remembered which was how people preserved their loved ones hoping to bring them to live.

Then Alyssa came across an article about Freezing Time. Could that have been possible? Maybe the students had been frozen in time, while the rest of the others not affected by the spell still moved on in time. It seemed to reason since none of the students remembered what happened anything when they unfroze. All they remembered was the last thing they did before they froze. Alyssa quickly placed a parchment marking that page before reading on.
