Luckily though Althea had sent out a reminder memo so she had managed to clear her schedule without too much trouble.
Pushing open the door to the conference room some moments later, she took in the room as she entered. Seeing Althea sitting near the front with an employee unknown to Natasha she headed towards them. Claiming a vacant seat at the table opposite Althea she greeted her first with a beam "Good day, Althea!"
Gazing over at the woman beside the boss lady Tasha smiled. "Good day, I don't believe we've met? I'm Natasha Warrington."
Ashley was relieved that other people had started coming into the conference room. Not that she was afraid of being alone with the department head, it just was nice to not be alone in the spotlight, at least for the moment. She watched as blonde woman approached the table albeit quite cheerfully, and sat down across from the boss lady. So they knew eachother then, judging by the way she greeted the woman. And oh, now she was looking at Ash. Putting on her best smile, the blonde nodded.
"You're right, I don't believe we have. I'm Ashley Green." And she extended her hand to her coworker.
"It's nice to meet you, Natasha."
As more people filed in, Ashley noted that she didn't see too many familiar faces. Not that that was too surprising, the blonde was still relatively new to the department herself and hadn't seen much action since she started her position. Perhaps it was a good thing she had decided to attend this orientation after all.
Derek. Heh. Ashley offered him a genuine smile when he entered the room, noting right off the bat that he seemed a bit uncomfortable. She wished the poor guy would relax a bit. His uneasiness was even starting to make her uncomfortable. She made a mental note to invite him to get some food with her sometime or something. Maybe try and figure him out a bit. That was good friendly employee protocol anyway, yeah?
