That was slightly worrying, but that was okay. She knew that she loved Wesley, and she knew he loved her. Everything would be fine, and in a few short minutes they would be man and wife. That would be a very exciting moment. She just needed to get through the walking down the aisle bit. And the father bit. Talking about her father. He looked rather interested in that painting over there.
Luckily the wedding planner was now ushering him over, just as the wedding march began. At least they could get this over and done with before her father combusted. "Just try to look happy Dad..." She mused, trying not to order him, just as the doors opened. Thoughts about her dad sort of left her mind though, as she saw Wesley at the end of the aisle. Oh. Her lovely Fiancé. Smiling at him, she began walking down the aisle, accompained by her Father, and the bridesmaids. Any doubt, any worries, any hesitation Wesley had had at the beginning of the day was quickly fleeing his mind and body the closer Izzy got to the altar. Aww. She just looked beautiful. Gorgeous. Stunning. And a whole lot of other wonderful adjectives. What a dress had she picked out! Woowoo!
Wes barely even noticed the flower lady (hehe) and the ring-bearer finally making it up to the front, though in the back of his mind he felt some sense of relief that both had pulled off their duties. No, he was too busy gazing at Izzy with a clearly loopy but very real grin to even notice the arrival of the priest. "WADIES and GENTWILLMEN," the priest announced, popping up from Merlin knew where to beam at the crowd. "Pwease stand for dee awivval of da bwide!"
This was Marty V. Nuptschallz's very favorite part of the WHOLE ceremony. Other than the middle and the end, of course. Ah, the beginning.
