When he was done looking around at other guests to see who else was there, he checked himself. Suit? It was good. Hopefully he had his pants on as well. He still was determined to blame Evelyn for almost forgetting to get his pants. Yes, yes, it was because of her. For what else reason would he forget to wear pants for the wedding of his boss? It could have caused a chaos.
HAHAHA...
As he walked farther into the place, he gently wrapped an arm around his pretty girlfriend's waist as he led her. He felt so proud to have the most beautiful woman in the world with him. Everything about her was perfect that evening.
''Well...this place has the real wedding air.'' he commented, staring at the decorations this time.
She'd sincerely believed she wouldn't have to attend another wedding for a very long time after Marie's. Or perhaps she just hoped?
Receiving that invitation to her boss's wedding was as much a surprise to her as anything could be. She hadn't known the woman for very long, though because Miss Montague was her boss, there was no way she could decline the invitation. That nagging feeling that the woman would know she skipped on purpose just for the sake of not going was too much. Plus when Josh got his own invite...
Well, she was here now. Taking a deep breath after observing the crowd, giving an unmistakable scowl in the direction of Demetrius when she spotted him,
Evelyn Flores stopped fiddling with her necklace and moved along with her boyfriend as he started walking them to...somewhere. Perhaps a seat. Surely this wasn't one of those things where the mysteries department sat on one side and the law enforcement sat on the other, right?
"No kidding." she muttered, taking notice of the actual room now instead of it's occupants. It was beautiful, of course, and Evelyn expected nothing less before she arrived. Still, it was a wedding. Not exactly her comfort zone. "You want to find a seat, or mingle a little first?"
