There was no need of laying ALL the facts and possibilities before the stammering boy just now... she could think of something when they were forced to break rules take special measurements to achieve their purpose of fixing the problem.
... and getting into a new one. WHICH was supposed to be less crucial than Paulie breaking up with Tori and Adam. Louisa could take anything to fix that.
Back to work. Louisa moved away a bit as Vickers started hammering the first trellis into the ground, "I don't even know how I pushed this up," she observed, absently looking down at her dirty hands. Ohh! It was her turn to steady them in the ground. Louisa moved closer and with her wand she clamped the plank's roots to the soil around it. Four times; one for each plank.
Then came the roof, Vickers lifted it and slowly fixed it on top of the trellises. Louisa moved forward so that she was directly under it. "I'll bolt the edges of the roof to the trellis.." Just in case she was doing anything wrong. Standing on her tippytoes Louisa spoke loudly, "Pario Claustrum," jabbing with her wand at the corners of the roof where it connected with the trellises. The bolts erupted from her wand and sank into the wood, or well that was what she thought. They'd find out easily whether it was right or not... hehe.
After about ten bolts, Louisa paused and looked at Vickers. "You think that's enough?" She did contribute them equally... so....
Paulie if he agrees….
Paulie… there was only one Paulie he heard about who was from House of Gryffindor…
“THE HEAD BOY??!??” he blurted out in shock before clamping his mouth shut. Wide eyes stares back at the Ravenclaw Prefect. Of all the Gryffindors she had to get in trouble with it had to be the Main Man of the student population? He wasn’t used to breaking rules. Well maybe except that one time… or twice… or….
… well heck he prided himself for doing things by the book
at least in his mind. But if his Prefect needed help to get out of this big trouble with the Head Boy… he supposed he could rationalize bending a few rules, erasing a few memories. He’s a Ravenclaw, they’re gifted with rationalizing even the most insane ideas right?
Don’t answer that.
He nodded his head silently, complicit now with whatever the Ravenclaw brunette had in mind. Hastily he levitated the swing in place and started looping the other end of the ropes around the roof’s support plank, suspending the swing in mid-air. He peered forward to when Louisa asked if its roof was secure enough.
“Yeah that’s plenty good enough.”
He stepped back and smiling widely, beheld the work they made
“We did it, we’ve made a trellis garden swing Pr--Louisa” he said, juuust about catching himself from calling his Prefect by her title which she has made clear she disliked. After a while he angled his head
“It looks pretty bare doesn’t it?” he was hoping it would look fantastic but it was just…. presentable.
