Simon had to admit, while he knew the wedding of Wes and Izzy had been upcoming, he hadn't had any idea he would in fact be invited. There just wasn't the sort of connection others in the department had with them in his own. However low and behold, there had been an invite to the event at the flat and it certainly wasn't Sabel's seeing as he had moved out after Anya's graduation.
He came guest-less seeing as bringing his girlfriend to an MLE-infested function kinda defeated the purpose of keeping their relationship under wraps from said MLEr's. Taking a seat on the bride's side seeing as he did indeed feel more connection to the woman formerly his boss, the YATI settled in as he and the rest of the guests sat ready for the wedding to begin. His gaze wandering up to the men at the altar before settling absently on the room as a whole.
