Text Cut: Evelyn ^_^

It had really seemed like Professor Bellaire was stalling their entrance into the forest for the lesson, but at least Stella had the distraction of her conversation with Evelyn to keep her from wondering too much about why they weren't just getting the field trip over with. Along with concern over the three who had been called out, seeing as she knew two of them and the third was one of her housemates. She was just hoping that trouble wasn't going to occur before class truly began, and she'd turned back to Evelyn as the prefect had responded to her statement about the holidays. At least her apology had either been accepted or dismissed as unnecessary, which relaxed her a bit more. "I did," she agreed, keeping the conversation quiet so as not to miss if the professor spoke again. "Although there was a bit of stress at first, since Matt's entire family was there as well." She thought things had gone as well as they could have for the first meeting, however. She wasn't about to drag that topic on unless Evelyn seemed curious.

Instead, the focus went on the other girl, and the inevitable mention of studying for NEWTs, and she smiled back. "I'm trying to get started with that, too, along with lessons," she replied. It was a bit hard to focus on classes and exams when people were freezing right and left in lessons, mysteriously and frighteningly. Plus, now they were going to be heading into the Forbidden Forest, which was scary enough without worrying about how Professor Bellaire might react to someone freezing in the middle of her lesson. "I'm sure you'll figure it out soon," she responded absently at the awkward answer to her last question, as she noticed Professor Romanos joining them with a box. Hmm, are there more pygmy puffs in there?, she wondered, remembering the note that the creatures would be provided if needed. Not that it was necessary, seeing as Nuage was still tucked up against her neck under her scarf. At least there would be two professors with them, which made her feel a bit safer.

Especially as, what seemed like moments later, Professor Bellaire announced they were going to start heading into the forest, and she ended up a step or two behind Evelyn as the line started proceeding forward. She sped up as the Hufflepuff had turned back, however, catching up so she was walking next to her but still in the line. "Exciting is one way of putting it," she replied wryly, giving Blue a smile as well as she saw her little DADA partner glancing over nervously. They wouldn't let anything happen to the little firstie. She'd just pretend she wasn't as scared as she really was. It was just a bit of acting after all.
