Woah, lots of Puffs already! he noted with pride, a warm glow momentarily heating him from within. But it was the Gryffindor Prefect he chose to stand by.
He greeted Bellaire with a curt nod (it was cold out here, after all) before addressing the sixth year.
"Hullo, Kurumi. It's cold out, eh?" Obvious, but worth acknowledging. "Can I expect to see Lewis here?" Lewis was one of his best mates at Hogwarts and lived in the same House, yet Keefer thought she would have a better idea of his intentions for attendance.
Robes in perfect condition, minus wishing she had thrown on another sweater before heading out from the common room, Kurumi moved her hand to run her fingers through her hair absently when it got caught on the long braid that was hanging over her shoulder. Oh, erm, right. She had braided her hair before coming down here. It was the best way to keep her hair out of her face and for it to look neat - since the woman was more OCD than anyone else she had ever met.
It was then that she heard someone greet her and she turned her head to the side. "
Keefer, hi," she smiled, bowing her head in greeting towards him. Cold? Yes. But her hometown was colder in the winter than this. Her cheeks flushed instantly when he asked about Lewis. Now it definitely wasn't cold. In fact, she could probably do without one of the layers she was wearing. "
Lewis...w-won't be here," she said, chewing on her lip shyly for a moment. "
He caught a cold." A pretty bad one at that and she hated that she couldn't check up on him easily.
Looking around for a moment, Kurumi eyed the line of students and lowered her voice. "
Um...Keefer...we are supposed to line up..." Which didn't mean he couldn't just squeeze in next to her in line, right?
