"I'm no hero, but I suppose I'll take credit for bein' a preeeetty darn good matchmaker." ~~Even if she and Adam hadn't exactly worked out.~~ But he had already explained to her before that HE was the one butting into other peoples' love lives. He just happened to push some people in the right direction, see? It was his matchmaker qualities coming through.

Suddenly, however, he shot her a mock-surprised look. "Me? A vampire? How did you find out?!" heh. He put his hand behind his head and sank into the cushions again. "So how come you're visiting the prefect's lounge, hmm? Come here to study, no doubt." Or read or something.
