Seriously, he didn't know how to respond it.
While he was distracted by the unexpected letter, suddenly there was a boy who might be a bit younger noticed him. Bad news from home? Well, he couldn't say it was a bad news, or a good news either. This letter was just.. confusing, and full of mystery. Why did he say that was important? And what would they talk about his girlfriend? Did she have a serious family case or something? He didn't know.. yet. "Oh. Hi." he greeted him. "Well, I don't think it was a bad news or something." said him flat. He didn't know if it was bad or good for him.. and his girlfriend.
"Planning something fun for Christmas?" suddenly he asked. Most of Hogwarts students had planned to spend Christmas time with their family, including him. But this year Christmas was so much differetn because this was his first year to celebrate Christmas not in Vancouver, his hometown.
"Well you don't look happy." Mordred shrugged as he continued to sort the letters he got that day. His cousins are such pests.
"What's in it?" he asked as he looked at the guy...who looks troubled. Girl problem maybe? Oh...OH. Maybe it's from his girl friend or something.
He extended his hand to the boy and introduced himself.
"I'm Mordred by the way. Fourth year." Well, isn't it nice, FINALLY knowing boys around his age. Girls were EVERYWHERE in Hogwarts.
Something...
fun? Spending the holidays with your enemies doesn't sound fun.
"None really. If I can stay here at Hogwarts I would." But apparently his parents did not allow it. They said he needs to come home.
"You? I suppose you're going home for the holidays too?"
