Harry Potter actress Emma Watson may take on a supporting role in director Darren Aronofsky's biopic
Noah, based on the historic story behind the famous ark builder. Academy Award-winner Russell Crowe is set to play Noah, while Emma's
The Perks of Being a Wallflower costar Logan Lerman will portray one of Noah's sons, Ham.
Emma herself is in talks to play Ila, who is "a young woman who develops a close relationship with Noah’s son, Shem [played by Douglas Booth]."
There is no confirmation on if Emma has taken on the role, though we will update as soon as more information is released.
Noah is set to begin production, with a tentative $130 million budget, this summer for a March 28, 2014 theatrical release.
