"One other thing about your calculations though, is to make sure you have a look at the meanings of the compound numbers for your individual names. So in the case of using Vickers, this would be 22 and 33."
When the Professor shifted her hand towards his parchment he was expecting that she was going to point something out that he missed or miscalculated
He blinked in surprise when she lifted her hand and on his parchment was a gold star. If he was any younger
and female he would've squee'd. Oh but she was answering his question and explaining that he missed to get the meaning of a few other results. He nodded his head, understandably exuberant
"A-Alright Professor.... and Thank you!" he added quickly, smiling appreciatively before returning to his textbook and his parchment.
So he should stick to using his nickname for the Chaldean method, and just needed to look up the meaning for his nickname, which was a 22, and his last name which was a 33. From his recollection these were Master Numbers, but since today they were studying the Chaldean he referred strictly to the number meanings in that chapter.
He looked up 22 first and began to read
His earlier exuberance of getting the star dissipated quickly as he reached the end of that paragraph. That sounded bad. Unconsciously he looked around the students in his class, then returned his gazed to his parchment sullenly as thoughts swirled around in his head.
With a sigh he flipped a few pages to the number 33, which stood for his last name...
That sounded far better than the meaning assigned to his nickname, although given the history of his family on both sides of the Magical divide he really shouldnt have been surprised that the meaning of his last name have proven to be true for a long while now.
He was still worrying over the meaning for his nickname when the Professor said class was dismissed. Reluctantly he stood, packed his things back into his book bag then bid the Number Guru goodbye
"Thank you Professor Hadley." he said as he tried to muster up a smile and filed silently behind the rest of the students on their out of the classroom.
