So, Nora understood most of what the professor told them, and it was quite fascinating for her. But as things got complicated... she was lost. Totally lost. What was she going to do, then? She was going to stay quiet and take lots and lots of notes, so she could eventually study more carefully later. She didn't know the answer to her last question either, so taking notes was the best thing she could do at the moment.
Maybe trying to concentrate more would be great as well.
