As she greeted them all she stuck a hand into the bowl of stones and pulled out a handfull, and held it out for them to see. In her palm were some clear shiney stones, a few red ones, a dark blue one, and some regular looking brown ones. "Does anyone have any idea what we might use these stones for in a Divination lesson?" Not a hard question just a thinker
Nerida smiled at Professor Elwood, to be honest she loved Divination, but this cold was going to kill her. Eyeing the stones she suddenly thought so something she had read. Professor is it Lithomancy, I read that you can tell the future with stones.

OCC: So please only give ONE stone and it's meaning so everyone can participate.

EDIT: Yes, I know I've seen some sites that say 16 stones but we are going with the original 13. I will make a definate list before we move on. [/color]
Nerida eyebrows furrowed. She had read about the stones in that book...Oh yes, the fire stone..Professor, I believe there is a Fire stone. The fire stone represents Passion, willpower, and outside influences. Is this right? To be completely honest she had read the book a long time ago, she found it in her father's office. So she could have been wrong.

SPOILER!!: Nerida's Notes

Lithomancy~Divination using stones
  • To do a reading you need a stone set.
  • To do the reading: Toss the stones into a circle made of string that will act as the field. Once the stones are in the feild read them by their position.
  • There is 13 stones in the stone set. Each of the thirdteen stones represents something.
