Grabbing a card, laughing JD shook his head at what Anya had just asked his hand reached for a drink of pumpkin juice he’d brought into the room. His eyes met hers over their deck of cards. Watching as she grabbed a card, he looked at his hand and grabbed another. His eyes weren’t on the game any longer though, and hers wasn’t either. His hand with the cards lowered as she leaned forward towards him, leaning towards her as well, his eyes took on a more serious note, that was until suddenly the pile of cards between them exploded.
