Flying Without a Broomstick

The Gryffindor team had just won the championship, and cheering with Ellie by his side in the stands, JD turned and grinned as she threw her arms around him, then stepping back a moment he leaned in and kissed her.

Seconds later he felt himself go flying backward into the seat he’d just vacated, which happened to be on the end of the row. “WHAAAaaa?” he asked surprised. If it had been just a few more feet he’d probably be flying through the air without a broomstick! Watching as Ellie strode away without a backwards glance, he shook his head.
