Vickers did the hard part, bless him.
Just when she was about to move to the next page, Kurumi was nearby pointing at a symbol. Louisa looked up at the Gryffindor, raising her eyebrows. Oh. So.. they were... normal again? Like the way they used to be before the unspeakable discussion?
"Err..." she looked back at the symbol the girl just pointed at. "Y-yeah, you're right. It's ..." Louisa tilted her head sideways, ".. Deftillare." She read out loud, glancing at her partners.
Oh and Kurumi. "Thanks," she gave the quickest smile a human being ever mustered to give another.
"
You're welcome," the sixth year smiled. Kurumi was far too focused on the task at had to realize or even remember the awkwardness that was in the air surrounding her and Louisa right now. It also helped that Vickers was there. Kurumi cocked her head to the side and looked at their item again. Had she heard Vickers call it a distiller? It looked like a glorified coffee maker made from copper to be entirely honest. "
You really think this thing distills?" Kurumi asked, pointing to the object on their table. "
I wonder how it does that..." Kurumi was rather curious about this coffee maker. "
It looks like a cappuccino maker...like this is where the foam would come out and into the cup..."
Okay, so maybe her previous notions about it not looking like anything she had ever used in cooking before had been a bit off not that she
really got a look at it.
"
Only...it's interesting how it looks like this one tube is running from the first one...into the second...and then out of the second. I imagine something else it supposed to go there to catch whatever is coming out of it," Kurumi continued as she pointed to the bit of copper tubing sticking out of the cup looking part. "
Do you...think this part heats?" she asked, pointing to the solid copper section that looks like a copper squash.
