Family Background
Chase’s family is obsessed with the idea that they are related to the Weasleys. Chase suspects ~~knows~~ that this is a false assumption. Even his brunette mother, who married into the ginger haired clan, believes she was somehow related to the Weasleys. His mother ignored Chase’s insistence that if that were so, his parent’s marriage would be incest.
His family live in a big old Manor in Cashel, Ireland. The manor had belonged to their family for ever and, also coming with the house was Elley and Elley’s mother Mimsy, the house-elves whose family had served the Gallacher’s for centuries. Elley was Chase’s favourite of the two. He would let the small house-elf play with his Weasley dolls in his Burrow doll house when he was little.
Chase has many cousins, though not too many that his family visit often. Rosemary, Cadmon and Zachary are the only cousins of his that live in Ireland.
