Alex had just started drumming her wand on her leg when someone spoke near by her. She turned around to see someone her age talking to her. "Hey! And nope not at all, most of them can probably understand you but then again..." the Lion blabbed on said without thinking it through first. "Sorry if that sounded stupid but it always makes sense in my head..." Alex added as she remembered that they hadn't introduced themselves properly. "I'm Alexandra by the way but call me Alex." the fourth year said with a smile.
"Hey, Alex! Nice to meet you,'' Jory said.
"I'm Jory.'' He threw some more bread into the Pond and the ducks quickly dove under the water to retrieve them.
"Yup, sometimes I do think they understand us, but wouldn't it be cool if we could understand them?'' he asked his imagination, once again running away from him.
"I'm sure they'd tell us loads of ducky tales.'' In the pond, one of the ducks quacked loudly.
"See?'' he said, grinning.
"That one agrees with me.''
