94. Allergic

Emily stuffed a pepper imp in her mouth, savouring it's punchy bite. “Oohhh yeah, that's the stuff. You want one?” she offered to some random Slytherin girl she didn't know. The library sure was an unusual place to make friends with candy, though she was only offering to be polite.

“No thanks, I'm allergic.”

Emily stared.
“Allergic?”

“Yes allergic,” replied the Slytherin girl. “I can't eat them.”

“I know what allergic is.”
She WAS a Claw after all. Emily couldn't imagine a world without pepper imps.
“Sucks to be you.”
