The office of the Department Head of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes was smack bang in the middle of level three; the main doors led to the reception area, through which access to the main work areas was possible, and a smaller door opened out into the main internal corridor, with the break room and conference room across that hallway, and the bathroom to the right if you happened to exit the office from this smaller door.

The office itself is large, with a sizeable desk in one corner so that if she happens to be sitting there, Althea can see whoever chooses to come inside. Several chairs sit on the opposite side of her desk, for anyone who has official business with the DMAC head. A large couch is against one wall, its at least six feet long, and wide enough that it appears it would be comfortable to sleep on if she happened to be working a long night. There is a table with eight chairs, and a presentation board just inside the main door, where small meetings may be held. A fireplace sits in the opposite corner, with a limited connection to the floo network.

Its a richly coloured space, and yet tastefully decorated, a reflection of the Department Head perhaps? What isn't so noticeable is that the office has many subtle charms and spells present, some of which are likely to remain a mystery, and yet all have a purpose.

Knock if you wish to enter, but please don't waste Althea's time. She wouldn't be pleased.

The office can be used, with permission from the Department head, for division meetings if the conference room is in use, or if a smaller, more intimate setting is required.
