His eyebrow raised as he took a sip, his eyes gracing over the top of the steaming mug.
The YATI couldn't help inwardly chuckling to himself as he continued to absently observe the two wondering how it would turn out. Seeing as he knew Josh well and experienced enough of Emily to be careful himself. His friend...not so much, tending to be like his usual self even around the more volatile colleagues like the young woman. It was bound to have some interesting results.

Emily was a ninja, only more epic... so she could FEEEL that other people were STARING RUDELY in her general direction. Simon... should know better. Should she hex him? Teach him a lesson? ... And this other fella? What was his story?
Eyebrow raised, she returned the LOOK.
They would be spared from her wand this time round.

Walking into the conference room, Legend's eyes immediately fell upon the food. Pastries! And fruit! Shame there wasn't anything really good like pizza but he would make do. He always did. Grabbing a small bowl he scooped a couple of strawberries, blueberries and blackberries into into it before turning his attention to the danishes. Legend grabbed a couple and loaded a small plate, and even got one between his teeth before carrying both plates over and squeezing himself into the tight gap between Josh and Emily.
He was just in time to hear a question about sharing. How did it work? Well, he had learned that about sixteen years ago. "Eeett woofsdts like thsidss." Legend took a bite of the croissant that had been between his teeth and offered it to Emily. Or more like....tried to stuff it in her face. See! Sharing! Emily went to turn back to Josh, and Chosen, having seen him join them out of the corner of her eyes. What she hadn't realised however, was that he'd weaseled his way between them. Flhdjrpvjee!
"Personal space Chosen!" she said back handing the pastry thing he was shoving in her face.
"Whatsthematterwithyou?!"
Whatever Carter had in mind would probably have been more pleasant than this pastry asult!
