Seeing Louisa grin made Lewis smile too, albeit a little hesitantly at first. Hadn't she just been busy giving him unfriendly looks? And now she was smiling and...and touching him?! Once again he was completely lost on how to interact with a friend so her sudden touch caught him a little by surprise. Though, she'd nudged him too some time back so this was probably normal? Yes? Was now the time to nudge her maybe? Before he got to do - or actually not do - that, she managed to suprise him even more. "Buddy...?" Was that the same thing as 'friend'? Also why was she resting her case? What was her 'case' anyway?

"Yes!" It was now Lewis' turn to beam at her, turning in his seat to face her so suddenly that he almost hit her over the head with the sign she'd given him. "I mean...uhm...yes, I'd like that." AHEM! This time he was all cool and relaxed when he said that, trying hard to hide his excitement. He'd found a group and topic for this. Meaning he could maybe even finish this homework on time. "W-what do I need to do?" Okay, maybe he should have asked that BEFORE agreeing to join her and this other boy. What if they had really terrible plans to convince others of their cause and now he had to join them? |
