For all he cared, Paulie and Aspen could stay in detention forever because they weren't Slytherin. But he and Sierra, that was just unfair.

Accepting Aspen's hand without even noticing he was holding her hand that she offered voluntarily, he got up and looked pleadingly at the professor. He had done nothing wrong, just like Sierra. If anything, they were the victims here.

Why did Slytherin lose 100 points quite unfairly?

With a muffled frustrated sigh, he went over to the wall and stood there as intructed. Unlike Sierra who he couldn't understand either, he didn't lower his head but kept it high up. Because he and she had done nothing wrong.
