Then she wondered if vomit would levitate...
Why was she forever forgetting Joao beneath her?
Not that João didn't enjoy the show. On the contrary, he wanted to hug Aspen for thanks for taking care of Paulie for him. Despite all his efforts of being friendly and trying to see the boy in a friendly way, João just couldn't resist that evil inside him that prodded him into doing mischief. But Aspen, the wonder of Aspen had done that for him. And he got the same amount of entertainment out of it. Her way of taking care of people was just quite unique.
When she talked to him though, he was quite relieved. Because she spoke normally, as if that nasty encounter had never happened between them. And João observed that this new wand was quite strong that it was a real weapon in her hands. She was welcome. Whenever she needed, he would blast her wand again.
Hehe.
Or maybe not. Smirking evilly, he said as quietly as he could so that only she would hear it:
"Just drop him, then." That was what he did, simply, to him. So why shouldn't Aspen simply let him... fall, as well?
