Uh-oh. He WAS late figuring out what he was protesting for, wasn't he? How had he missed that assignment up until now? And why did he not remember writing it down in the first place? Weird. "Thinking about someone" He started to repeat but trailed off towards the end when he got what she was talking about. Which made him blush. A lot. Was that really it? Had Kurumi caused him to forget about this homework assignment? Her snicker made him look back at her, frowning a little in confusion when she told him that he wasn't supposed to answer. Once again. Why was she asking him questions then if she didn't want answers?

Somehow Louisa always ended up confusing him. And not in a good way.

Feeling more awkward by the second, Lewis slowly started to rock back and forth on his heels a little, briefly considering just leaving her be again. Until she offered him a seat. Which he took with a small smile. Not even Louisa confusing him and throwing him unfriendly looks good damper his exceptionally good mood. Not too much anyway. "But you ARE a Prefect." HUH?! Why did she think it was important to add that he was calling her Prefect? What else would he be calling her? Oh, okay, maybe her name. But Prefect was good too. So Lewis didn't think this was too surprising or weird.

But something told him that it hadn't really been his position to speak right now so all he did when she went on was nod. Holding up the poster she had placed on his lap a little higher so he could get a closer look, he smiled a little. It was good. He liked the cause too. He had always been wondering what kinds of books were in the Restricted Section. But before Lewis got to think about this some more, Louisa had stopped talking and was now looking at him expectantly. Had her last sentence been a question? And she hadn't told him not to answer so he was probably supposed to. "Yeeees." Lewis replied slowly, stretching out the word a bit. He did agree with all she'd just said.

Yes, she was a prefect but she was also LOUISA. Carter. And she liked to be noticed as her own character rather than her badge. Which was a very proud thing in the beginning... until it started sucking the attention off the girl's face. Ignoring his pointing out the obvious, Louisa was more keen on convincing him to join their protest now than arguing with him.

And he said the Y word! Louisa's face broke into a beaming grin and she clasped him on the back, "I rest my case, buddy." Okay, the 'buddy' word was a bit too much BUT it was for academical reasons only. The Ravenclaw started re-organizing her things on the couch with Lewis now taking this spot on it, she needed to continue make posters for tomorrow's plan with Vickers. "So, do you want to join us in our protest? Since you agreed on the main concept of opening up the Restricted Section and all?" She looked at him from under her eyelashed, a quill dropping ink was held in her hand. "We're starting tomorrow." So he really didn't have much time to think about it.

Once he confirmed, Louisa could tell him about their master plan of mobbing the professor's offices with posters... and maybe some mats.
