Selina was further confused when Kurumi asked where her shoes had gone. The redhead looked around the room to see if Kurumi was playing a joke on her or something, but when she looked back at Kurumi the girl was still awaiting an answer about the whole shoe thing. Curiously she replied, "Bellaire had us take them off... they are in your bag." Seriously, was Kurumi alright, she was acting very strange.
So when Kurumi answered that she was fine, Selina was partial not to believe her. Right, of course she was fine. She really didn't believe her, but she was not going to press the issue. Kurumi had a lot on her mind lately and being a little forgetful was not a crime. In response to Kurumi's question Selina pushed aside her confusion, "Each other... we are levitating each other... hence the pillows."
Kurumi's eyes drifted to her bag where...yep, there were her shoes. That was strange. Kurumi didn't remember taking them off OR putting them in her bag....or Professor Bellaire telling them they were supposed to. Not like she could change the past...especially since she didn't remember it. Weird. Why were there so many patches in her memory? The most traumatic of these was still her and Lewis' kiss in the owlery which was, well, still a black spot in her memory. "
Oh," Kurumi said sheepishly, looking back at her best friend.
Wait, each other? "
OH!" Kurumi said again, eyes widening just a bit as she gawked at Selina. Kurumi removed her wand from its turquoise holster and twirled it in her fingers. "
Levitation Charm on each other, right, got it. I can do that," she nodded. "
I've used it in Walnut before, so...nothing should go terribly wrong." One could hope at least. Selina was small. Kurumi was small. They both were small. Shouldn't be too bad. "
So, you want to practice on me first?" Translation: go for it Selina!
