'Advice noted, thanks.'
Strange. This was very strange. Joao had been, for the most part, pretty.. laid back and even, dare he admit it, friendly. In his own, odd Brazil Nut way. The laugh was what really threw him for a loop. Finally, snapping back into things some more, Paulie closed the little bit of dialogue they exchanged. "Well, anyhow.. see ya." And with not another thought on the encounter, he yanked the door open and set out in the direction of the kitchen.
Joćo could see that the guy was perplexed by his relaxed manner. Quite. He felt victorious and accomplished, because finally, someone other than Louisa in that stupid circle of Adam had seen the real Joćo inside him. See? He could take things pretty easily, alright. See? He did know how to laugh, alright. See? He was pretty civil, alright. He was even
friendly in his own way. It was Adam that made him so... negative, but that would stop now too, because he had his revenge and he was okay with him now. To some degree.
He wanted to say something back,
anything, but he couldn't think of anything wise to have a conversation. The guy was too surprised though to have a wise conversation anyway. So, dumping the tissues into the bin, he called a
"Have a nice day!" after him and left after a few minutes later to give the guy some time to get away.
