Paulie blinked. What was different about thi- Ohh. That was it. Huh. Paulie had never seen Joao laugh before. Or smile, for that matter. Leaning his head to the side just a little, something he often did when he was pondering, he watched Joao in the mirror as his laugh finally quieted.

'Advice noted, thanks.'

Strange. This was very strange. Joao had been, for the most part, pretty.. laid back and even, dare he admit it, friendly. In his own, odd Brazil Nut way. The laugh was what really threw him for a loop. Finally, snapping back into things some more, Paulie closed the little bit of dialogue they exchanged. "Well, anyhow.. see ya." And with not another thought on the encounter, he yanked the door open and set out in the direction of the kitchen.
