It was an incredible day outside and despite all the homework and reading she needed to do, Penny was ever the astute Ravenclaw. She was reading her Transfiguration book and heading out toward the duck pond. The weather made it a little hard to concentrate though.

Okay so maybe a certain Hufflepuff transfer was making it difficult too. Sighing she went back to reading and walking, which was why she didn't see the pair of legs in her way. With a slight squeel Penny tripped and went down. Thankfully she managed to turn to that instead of face planting she landed on her backside.

She pushed her red hair out of her face and looked at who she had tripped over. Merlins beard! She gave a crooked smile. "Howdy cowboy. Fancy meeting you here."
