That was Alec's big dilemma of the day. Sure, he had come outside and his feet had taken him to a really public place but his tummy was also demanding food. And not just any food... ice cream! He didn't have any with him, which was a shame, really but... sweets should do, right? Sweets were the next best thing after ice cream. He took out a bag of sweeties, opened it and was about to take one out to eat when...
... someone started talking to him. Distracted, the young Hufflepuff blinked at the young boy near him. Of all the things to say to greet someone, this boy had decided to ask if he was in Hufflepuff. Weird. But the mention of his house was enough to bring a huge grin to Alec's face. "Yeah, I am!" he said, turning to face the boy completely, "Are you?" He didn't remember seeing the boy around the Hufflepuff common room but he did remember seeing him from somewhere...
