"I would advise not banging your head against the table though, it's bad for you." Hmm, how could she help him? She had no idea...
"Want some chocolate?" She took a chocolate frog from her pocket and passed it to him - chocolate solved everything.
Herbology..? IMPOSSIBLE? WHAT?
"Really? I can help you with that if you want..." Because Herbology was something she was pretty good at. And hadn't done the homework yet either...
