October 19th 1973

“AHHHHHHHHH!” James screamed as he landed on the floorboards.
“What is it?” Sirius grumbled in the bed opposite him.
“It was a Veela, she was so… beautiful. I just wanted to… see her better,” James said.
“What?” Remus asked in confusion.
“She wanted me to come closer, and I jumped off the balcony and… landed on… on the floor.” James was confused. What had happened? How did he land on the floor?

The boys cracked up laughing.
“I know you gotta get over Lily, but honestly I don’t think you have any higher chance with a Veela, mate,” Sirius laughed.
